Plenary presentations are allocated 25 min plus 5 min for discussion; parallel talks will have 17 min plus 3 min for discussion.
All speakers are required to upload their talk slides in PDF or PPTX format to the INDICO conference server by 18:00 the day before their scheduled presentation. It is the responsibility of the speakers to stop by the Speakers Office to ensure their presentation is displayed correctly. If you have any issues uploading your talk, or displaying the slides our Office staff will be happy to assist in resolving any technical issues.
The Speakers Office is located in the New Orleans room in the main meeting area, and will be open on Sunday from 16:00 to 19:00 with the conference check-in, and will remain open during the conference hours for the rest of the week.
Poster boards will be installed in the Regency C, Regency D, and International Suites (Acapulco, Hong Kong, and Toronto). The poster areas will open for poster mounting on Sunday, February 5th, from 16:00 to 19:00 with the conference check-in; posters can continue to be mounted throughout Monday morning. The poster session will start at 16:00 on Monday, February 6th. The posters will be moved to a secure location for the parallel session days (Tuesday and Wednesday), and will be reinstalled for display by the Organizers on Thursday, February 9th, and will remain on display until the closing of the conference on Saturday, February 11th.
Posters should be printed on A0 paper (width of 33.11 in/84.1 cm and height of 46.81 in/119 cm) or fit within this size. All posters must also be uploaded to the conference INDICO server in order to participate in the selection for the flash talk session at 10:00 on Saturday, February 11th.

Both airports have continual taxi service and train (subway) stations located in the airport that lead directly downtown.
The most convient way to get directly to the hotel downtown is to take a taxi, where you should expect to spend $50-$60, although it could be more if traffic is particularly heavy. There is also very inexpensive ($2.25 one-way) and reliable (runs 24 hours a day) subway transportation as detailed further below.

To take the blue line from O’Hare, follow the airport signage to Trains to City, purchase a CTA (chicago transit authority) pass from the vending machines (someone is also usually available to help if needed), and get on the first available subway (they all go directly downtown). CTA passes are available starting at $5 for the card, and a one-way trip to the city will cost $2.25. Get off at the subway at the Clark/Lake stop in the Loop. From there it is 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) to the Hyatt Regency. It is a safe walk or you can take a taxi for less than $10. Taxi cabs are easy to get anywhere in downtown Chicago.

To take the orange line from Midway, follow airport sinage to walk through the covered parking guarage to get to where you will take the orange line, purchase a CTA (chicago transit authority) pass from the vending machines, and get on the first available subway (they all go directly downtown). CTA passes are available starting at $5 for the card, and a one-way trip to the city will cost $2.25. Get off the subway at the State and Lake stop in the Loop. From there it is 0.4 miles (0.6 kilometers) to the Hyatt Regency. It is a safe walk or you can take a taxi for less than $10. Taxi cabs are easy to get anywhere in downtown Chicago.

The conference takes place from February 6 to February 11. The average high in Chicago during this time is 35.8 °F (2.1 °C), and the low is 21.7 °F (-5.7 °C). It is not unusual for there to be snow on the ground during the month of February. It is also not uncommon to experience windy days during this time, so appropriate dress is important. It is generally suggested to wear a warm coat, hat, gloves, scarf, and shoes or boots that are good for walking in snow.
